Moods are emotional expressions

Moods are emotional expressions that lead us to create an identity.

These expressions of self can both lead us to create great things or to create great failures.

The basic emotional expressions are basically those that one would find named in sacred books such as the seven virtues or seven deadly sins.

Namely those would be as follows:

      Virtues
    • faith, hope, charity, justice, prudence, fortitude, temperance
      Sins
    • pride, gluttony, envy, lust, sloth, greed, anger

Throughout history people have sought to fill their needs and wants and while pursuing these goals and passions many have crossed the boundaries of what is defined as a virtuous way of creating an identity. Obviously if one has crossed that boundary then one has stepped into the domain of sin.

This all works both on an individual level and on a group level.

The story goes that a person is more likely to find peace of mind and happiness by conducting his daily affairs while observing his virtuous qualities. But the story also states that more often than not the quick fix is had by applying the rules of sin in the management of our affairs.

Now we all know that a quick fix simply fills a temporary void and the demon of emotions always comes back for further payments.

This is often seen as corruption and addictive personalities.
