Words of Passion

With words of passion such as the word passion itself a person can open up completely new realities both within and outside of the self.

What words are we talking about ?

There are hundreds of these words but a short list might include the following:

  • passion
  • power
  • respect
  • inspiration
  • purpose
  • force
  • competence
  • energy
  • motivate
  • mood
  • attitude
  • element
  • and the list goes on

A definition of each of these words is a good place to begin understanding how they play a role in almost any task that a person undertakes.

If one were to study another person or another discipline then one could easily identify each characteristic listed as part of the scenario where one word interacts with the other to complete the whole picture.

Plato, the great Greek teacher/philosopher of old was accurate in his assessment of words when he stated that they are simply symbols of that quintessence force or energy and that no word could actually define the perfect form or meaning of a phenomenon.

The poet Walt Whitman put it in different terms but basically said the same thing when he stated something to the tune of "nature knows not words".

Words of Passion are just symbols that point in the general direction of truth about something. Good judgment on the part of they who assess situations is what often marks fairness and fair play.

Corruption therefore is simply negative passion at play. Or some may say that certain corruption is simply the acts of minorities who attempt to correct bigger sects of corruption. The ideals of a few fighting the ideals of the paradigm. However.......

Columbia is passion.

The above video is a beautiful example of passion at play where all of the classical elements meld together including the role of the human being. Columbia is passion may seem like an overstatement when one thinks of geopolitical issues but if one takes away all the negative human influences then Columbia certainly seems like a paradise.

A festival for everyday of the year certainly would require the passionate interaction of many humans to accomplish.
